ApolloStaring at the blue orb parked over the horizon, wondering if I'll ever make it back again.Apollo
The panels are all caked with ice, and my breath hangs in front of me.
In minutes, I will escape the gaze of the sun, and slip into forever, never to return.
If you are to remember me, forget who I was.
Through your telescope, watch me become a wavering light in the dead of night.
The string breaks free, and away I go.

ConstellationI chose parts of what we used to be, what I liked the best, and threw them as hard as I could toward the sun.Constellation
Forget about the rest.
I wanted to burn away what we were, what we are, and what we might be.
I could not throw hard enough.
We float through the unknown, a vacuum pulling us apart, and keeping us together.
We osmose into the Milk Way, and through shades of rose and blinding white, I can make out the nebulous lust that dies between us.
Through days of prose and binding light, I can't break up the black dust that lies between us.

13 Billion Light YearsI stare at the sun until the sky shatters into infinity, assimilating into a frightening, insurmountable forever.13 Billion Light Years
You move before me, an endless stream of dark colors in a blind night, cascading evenly across an uneven future.
The star melts around me, and in these streams I see you.
Without hesitation, I open my arms and breathe deeply the harrowing space, left alive by the glimpse of reality; that you exist.
Galaxies away from me you await, pulsing certain death into the billions of years that separate us.
We will be together.
I wait for yo

OrionPerched on a spindle of cyan thread, I am but a shrinking pebble in an endless ocean, stealing the life from your trails to achieve my apotheosis.Orion
I wish to be like you.
Arms outstretched, body of bricks, I shatter into the frigid sky, if only this were an eye for an eye, I for I.
I will follow you into the universe, and become as pale as stars around us.
My breath before my face turns to nebulae, and I dot the center of existence.
Hey!
I'm very glad to hear from you
I imagine she seems to much bigger now. They grow up so quickly. Too quickly.
Good to hear you are back in D.C. How are things going there? More comfortable? Hope so
We should chat sometime. I will try to be on AIM more.
Trying to find a job now, it's been rough. Just graduated from college with my B.S. in Elementary Ed. Looking for something in retail for the summer. Had an interview, but that didn't pan out.
Hope to hear from you again soon!
Wishing You Well,
Caitlin

It's good to still be in touch with you. Hope we can talk sometime on AIM.

Congratulations on working toward you Masters! That's great!
Good luck with the police officer position also. My boyfriend, Jeff, went through all that stuff so many times. It's pretty intensive stuff, eh? Guess it has to be if they end up giving people firearms and handcuffs, haha
Had some traumatic stuff happen today, actually. Our third, newest dog had a seizure in my arms. I thought my heart was going to stop watching him. He's fine, though! Doing okay now, we had him at the animal hospital. Rough day.
I have been on AIM a little more frequently lately. After this weekend I will have a some more time, yay!
It's good to still be in touch with you as well. Looking forward to talking with you on AIM sometime, hopefully sooner than later.
Best Wishes,
Caitlin

Maybe I'll catch you on AIM sometime. Glad you're doing alright, at least from what I gathered. You know, after I quit being so negative and stopped taking people's crap, things eased up. Imagine that. Also, going to the Jim and getting a little more buff didn't hurt.

Just stopping in to see how you are doing. I am not on AIM a whole lot. Laying low for a while
Hope you and your family are doing well.
Best Wishes,
Caitlin
